Five years ago we swiped right and took a chance on each other — two first responders who discovered, almost immediately, that we were on the same wavelength. What started as a spark over texts and competitive trivial pursuit quickly became a partnership built on shared values: communication, trust, and a love of laughing through the chaos.We bonded over adrenaline and late-night stories, and found ourselves diving headfirst into hobbies we both adore. We’re escape-room enthusiasts who love solving puzzles side-by-side, travel addicts always planning the next trip, and fiercely competitive teammates when it comes to bowling and board games (beware our trash talk). Our home is full of noise, love, and the scent of whatever he’s cooked up — often a little messier than he intends, but delicious every time.At the center of it all is a family we chose: two boys, one dog, and two people who show up for each other.Together we’ve learned to lean on each other, celebrate the wins, and navigate the puzzles life throws our way.
